I've only hit one deer in the guts in the last 15 years. You are right though. It killed him.

On a side note, something I read on the internet. Ninja's can punch you in the heart from 3 inches and explode your heart. I saw it once, thought it was a fluke, but after reading. Seems like there's something to it.

STFU Dave. Ham shots. WTF... SERIOUSLY WTF.

Anybody who buys that chit doesn't have an ounce of pure breed lethal killing instinct.

TT- I looked into that shot because it never made sense to me how it could be effective at all. After looking into it some, folks who have seen the results of the ham shot have all reported the same info. Blood trails ridiculously heavy, very short runs for a hit off the mark, and that nobody would consider it an ethical shot, or a shot to intentionally take. I've never hit a deer in the arse, but folks with a lot of experience tend to agree, that when they've run across this sort of thing, it made them scratch their heads as to why it was so lethal. I find it an oddity, and was trying to gather a bit of info to find out what other's experiences were.

Triton, what's wrong with Montecs?

The only complaints I've heard of the montecs was with out of the package sharpness. I was just wondering what Triton's deal/experience was with them.

Not going into it, cuz I get really sick, but what happened to me also happened to the PS. With the exception, it didnt go onto someone elses property that I was afraid to go on......just sayin

I hit the deer well, but just didnt get the penetration. I attribute it to the montecs.

It's not KU, it's UK. Huge difference. PLenty of good things come out of Kentucky, although I am not real sure why Tony is plugging them!
