JimDog wrote:yeah - I have bow hunted out of mine. It is large enough that I can stand up in it just fine. The only problem is that it has two sets of openings - upper and lower. The upper openings are too high, and the lower ones are too low. I think the upper openings are for shooting a rifle from a standing position. The lower ones are the correct hight if I am kneeling. The lower ones has a think mesh camo screen-like material that you can shoot through with a bow. I have shot through it at a target, and it did not effect the arrow flight at all.

This is almost identical to mine. Like I said - it is a pretty cheapo model, but it works just fine. it is light and easy to carry, you take it out of the bag and it's spring loaded and just pops open. If it is not windy, I just pop it open and get in. If it is windy, I'll stake it down.

JD, guess you could either grow or decrease in size to allow you to shoot out the windows that are for normal people...just sayin

Blinds are best reserved for idiots and the handicapped. Seriously, they are the second biggest crock of chit in bowhunting.

I have the Primos Vision blind and must say it seems to work pretty well, but like others have mentioned, when using it for deer hunting I take a lot of time to brush it in. I have had a lot of deer close to it, but have yet to shoot one myself, because I rarely sit it to hunt on my own. My wife killed her buck from it this year the day after I set it up. I like the vision a lot as it gives you a lot of window options in 360 degrees. My personal preference is to not deer hunt from it, but there have been a few places it has come in handy because there were simply no treestand options and it has worked great each time. I do think they work if you are discrete and use some common sense.

Sorry Dave, with those to criteria maybe you had better forego the whole blind thing. :)

Expandable broad heads for big game.

I honestly don`t like hunting out of them, but it`s becoming addicting having deer come so close, at eye level. I have one set up on the point of a little draw that juts out into a cut bean field. There are no trees big enough for a treestand so this was option #2. I`ve had from 6-23 deer within 50 yards of the blind every time I have sat in it. It`s amazing how much movement I can get away with when I wear black. btw...it`s a Primos Predator Den. Big enough for two people to fit in with room to spare.

In a cold-blooded, deadly kind of way.

There's nothing cold-blooded about sitting in a tent. It's as queer as PoisonSnake and Dave holding hands at the ballet.
