Re: Where is everybody????????
Weather guy said 107 for tomorrow, and I immediately wanted to kick him in the ball bag.
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

We got back yesterday afternoon from 5 days of fishing on Truman. First morning out I hit a nice wiper trolling and thought it was game on. Never caught another one. Did manage some crappie so all in all had enough fish for dinner and one bag for the freezer. It was so freakin hot on the lake it wasn't funny. Water temp was 85 but felt good sitting neck deep and sipping a cold one. Usually spent afternoons running around with the wife sight seeing and picking flea markets. Dave, had one nice afternoon in Clinton. That city is amazing. there was literally no place to park in the square.

The square is popular. On any holiday or festival, you have to park blocks away and hike in. Lots of community support for a little town.

It is really good to see an old down town in a country town be so alive with business and people. Do you ever go to Anthony's restaurant? We thought about trying it but didn't. It was hard to believe how many cars were parked in that square.

I have eaten there, but my mother inlaw cooks like she's feeding an army, so we don't eat out a lot in Clinton.
