Thanks for the great links !!!! The Irish Setters look nice, but I think I still prefer the Red and White Setters to the Irish. I have looking at Labs, but the hip displasia really worries me. Does anyone know of any lines that are fairly "displasia" free?

Stick Stickly, sheesh I man not be built like a fire hydrant, but at 240 lbs. I don't think I qualify for stickly?

Country Gal, work with a reputable breeder. They have all their dogs screened through using OFA evaluations of hip xrays. These breeders will only breed their bitches with males who have been screened. Shoot me an email and I can give you a name or two of some folks.
