Kind of like Smitty's monster that he killed with his bow.

I only had one chance and it was brushy with saplings. I guess the round got deflected. Then he ran a bit and stopped broadside with a clear shot. My empty ejected clean and the bolt on the m77 was locked down and all I got on the trigger pull was a click. The second round hung up in the magazine and did not load. I was looking at the deer when I closed the bolt. This is the worst thing that has ever happened during deer season. O well I guess that is why it is called hunting.

Congratulation GOGOP! Sounds like an exciting hunt.

Put two does in the freezer. One with a bow one with a gun. I haven't seen any big bucks this year, all spikes and little six and eights, nothing worth wasting my any deer on. Maybe ML season will change my luck !!!!!

Thanks guys, it was very exciting for me. I wasn't even sure I'd be able to go, so it meant a lot to me this year.
