That's why I asked. I will have to re-read the Montana rules, but I believe they said that a bowhunting course had to be NBEF-sanctioned in order to purchase a bowhunting license there. They also allow you to purchase one if you have purchased a bowhunting license in another state, but who knows how long they will leave that loophole open.
