I know one thing...we have certainly kept the bowfishing forum from getting out of control and that is no easy task. Those guys get flat crazy in there. Without Robin and I there to moderate things someone may have been seriously injured by now.

Keith, are you going to nominate someone? Go to the moderator forum and look at the MOTY post.

I made a suggestion first..if you don't like it then I will go with what you originally stated as criteria. I just think the MOTY should be judged by his posts and not by hunting or outdoor ability. To me the MOTY should be the member that most other members would miss the most if he no longer posted. Who is our Most Valuable Poster? To me, that should be the MOTY.

See, that's why I have the opinon of moderators. I think most of what goes on here is pretty is pretty low key, with some easy going banter. Once you give pi$$ ants some power, they feel the need to use it.

JimDog - thanks for putting it up and no hard feelings here. I just don't want to have my posts changed. Delete them if you wish. Ban me if you need to. But don't change the words to what I post, as if I posted them... Unless, that is, you want to give us all that power. But the the mighty "moderators" would be just like the rest of us...

Dammit - AGAIN, I have to agree with Sptsman. Isn't that exactly the chit some of y'all complained about on the other board...but when it's done over here it's funny?



Sporty - There is no moderator on the lodge, it shows "Outdoormissouri". So my guess is either JimDog has gave someone clearance to moderate this board or he did it himself.

This is how the conversation went with Dave a while back. Dave answers the phone (imagine a very high pitched feminine male voice), "Hi this is Dave, how may I help you?"

"Yeah this is Snowflake, (I didn't say snowflake, but I used my name), what's going on?"

There was a long silence on the other end of the line, then Dave says, "Oh, you need to talk to Dave K."

So I talk to Dave K for a little bit, and I soon realize that Dave K has no idea who I am.

I told him that I wouldn't be able to grab a bite to eat, and he said, "Ok?"

I hung up and thought, that little turd Dave-t is scared of me.
