I saw a buck swim the Missouri River earlier this year. He entered the water at a thin 110 inch, 140 pound 8 pointer on the south side, and exited the water a heavy 140 inch 8 that weighed 220 in the north side. So I know for a fact, the river makes a difference.

When exactly did you kill all these truckloads of big mature bucks in the Ozarks? I mean, we've never seen pics and God knows you'd have posted about them to once again feed your desire to prove your seniority over everything else that walks the planet.

Don't remember saying I'd killed truckloads of big mature bucks in the Ozarks. I believe I said I'd killed a few truckloads of deer. You did ask if I'd ever killed a mature buck, to which I asked, and I'll ask again, you sure you want to know? I'm giving you a chance to recover, but you don't seem to be picking up on it....

I hunted that area for many years, and many years ago. You remember the late 80's and early 90's, right? 35mm, baby, but I've got 'em if you're dying to see that I truly did get it done in areas you can't.

For what it's worth, I do not remember the late 80's in Missouri, other than very late since we moved back to the states in July of '89 and I did not even start deer hunting until '90. So no, I can't say I really know what it was like here in the 80's.

Also, define what you mean by me "not getting it done." I have killed deer each and every year since '95 and most years have taken multiple deer, and have killed over twice as many with my bow as I have with a firearm. Nearly all of that has been on our Ozarks foothills farm with a few exceptions. Here's a little secret, I haven even taken a few pretty good ones along the way...GASP.

You guys were not even thought of when lonepine and I started deer hunting. By the way it was in the ozarks well south of 70.

So making Pope is the only guide line for being a "good buck." One of my first kills off our property was a deer just under "pope" that was aged at 5.5 years by our taxidermist. I have killed four other deer off the property aging 3.5 to 4.5 and not one has made the books. I'm sure that's my fault though. There have only been two deer EVER taken from our property in the 21 years we have been on it that scored over 125 and they were both mid 130 inch deer and both very mature. I'm sure you could come down there and kill a book buck off that property every year though. Cuz you could kill a polar bear at the South Pole. You're just that damn good...again...YAWN.

I'm doing you a favor, savoring the moment. Once I show you animals killed that are better than yours in similar circumstances, only one of two things can happen. Either you have to shut it and realize SAMCRO has superior death skills, or you'll decide to find some way to set your circumstances apart. Maybe where I killed is 1/8 mile or so different from a major road, or you can see a white oak in the background and you only have reds, or the neighbor at your place killed all the does, or.........

I have sent in a recommendation to the MDC that all deer seasons only be open to you Samcro, as it is clear that you are the only person on God's green Earth that can kill an animal. I'll let you know what I hear back. I now understand why your hair thinned out on top, there is no way it could possible keep up with the extreme inflation of your head.
