At least I'm not out there posting PM's. Image

This ain't a chit stirring thing...I'm curious as moderator, are we supposed to "head off trouble" as JimDog intended or not? He says one thing, but then undoes it.

Fug you OF. JD isn't real happy about it either. I promise you. If you were to go ban someone because you just didn't like them and turn and around and threaten to leave stomping around threatening to taking the forum with you like a 3 year old. I would do my best to off with your head too.

Like it or not, it's about integrity...plain and simple. Don't be trying to play the victim now.

But I'm still curious about JD's comments....head off trouble and then when you do, it's undone. Which is it?

I am sick to my stomach with this crap. Talk to you boys in a few day's. Of, I am not going to go through a bunch of explainations. I am not a victim. Of, I don't care what you think at this point. Picking on JD, well I just can't stand for that. I know how bad he feel's about all this. So go fug yourself.

OF........what you are missing is there are proper ways to "head off trouble." heck, If the former moderator would have simply sent me a PM addressing any issues he had with me posting, I could have done one of two things, left or changed.

As it was, I did nothing wrong, I was booted and edited without cause or discussion. Let me remind you that I had been here many times in the past and no one had ever told me to stay off the walleye forum.

If I had been axed to do so I guarantee you I would have complied with most any request that was made.

Bottom line; this was no more than the former moderator trying to show off to a few "freinds." As usually happens, it came back to bite the one showing off in the @ss.

For those of ya bitchin bout the PM thing, here the way I see it (for what its worth)...

Ain't no guarantee anything you send is gonna stay private, whether they be emails or pms. 'Specially iffin ya don't even know the the SOB you're sendin'em to. So, either be sure ya know who you're sayin what to, or don't say nothin you'd be shocked to see put out in the open.

DSG - I hear ya and agree completely. Rely sent. Image

2B - You accusing ME of picking on somebody? That's fornicating priceless. I ain't picking on anybody. I was appointed a moderator against my wishes and I'm asking a serious question. Except for the messages that appear on here, we were never given any instructions on what/how he wanted us to do things or how he wanted things handled.

What trouble was he heading off? If he did this to head off trouble, it would not have been undone. I have not seen where this guy did anything wrong. Would it be fair for me to ban you because I am a tailgate up guy and you are a tailgate down guy? Look at the source of this whole thing. It is friggin ridiculous. This is all over an exchange on a forum YEARS AGO.

The other thing that you need to understand is that I never overturned his decision. He asked me to ban the guy. I banned him. He resigned. I unbanned him. I was planning on talking to him today after I did a little homework on the matter. I was going to recommend that we lift the ban until there was some kind of bannable offense. But the discussion never occurred.
