BB I cannot speak for others but, our last tax return went to pay off bills we had acquired during the year. We were about $4000 in debt and we paid it all off. Our medical insurance is costing us $500+ a month, which thanks to good fortune we can afford.
By the way I am not a Democrat, Republican or Liberal just you all know.

BJ, I squander my meager returns on frivolous items every year. My intent was to point out a bigger picture, not to preach.
I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. – Fred Bear

I was not preaching either. Well I guess my point was that there are people that don't "squander" their returns who could use cheaper insurance and could use some help in the employment department as well. After being laid off we nearly lost our home, we were just lucky that my wife found a better paying job which has helped save our home.

Sure he does. Remember he's just messing with us. He's a stinking Democrat, but he's afraid to admit it on here.

Oh come on LA tell us how you really feel. What is the big deal with Stem cell research anyway? So they start cloaning body parts what is wrong with that?

I did tell you how I really feel, Mr. Sarcastic. Have you ever known me to beat around the bush?

The stem cell deal for me is that those stem cells come from a human embryo... they are farmed, harvested and left dead. I'm just not okay with that. I know it already is done in various circumstances (like fertility clinics). I just am very uncomfortable with funding it.
Anything you can do, I can do better.

Snowster, I don't think I have ever seen you this upset on here. Calm down bro, many of us don't like the outcome now we should go out and get active immediately to win it back in 08.

Rainbow - How we vote in '08 isn't going to change the stem cell issue.

Did anyone see Bush's press conference yesterday? It made me sick, he pretty much said that he'll give the democrats anything they want!!!

You need to clarify your question...my beef is with new lines of embryonic stem cells, not adult stem cells.

Mostly it is, BJ, and trust me, you don't want to debate me on it either. This issue is way over your pay grade.

I can care less about the dems taking over the house and senate at this point, they'll screw up, it's a given.

I am not planning to debate you on the issue, I am curious why you have a problem with it.
