Yeah, this is pretty bad. I agree. I'm not so concerned about the wife or the other families involved. I hate to bail on my 2 young ones though. Haven't decided just yet.

Roscoe,

I should be there about the same time. I have some buds that are putting out some jugs in a lake about 20 min. East of there. I'm gonna stop and see how they did, then I'll head to Diggs.

Snake,

For God's sake ! Just come clean and admit that your wife won't let you go to Diggs. At least that would be believable.

Nobody will be there to massacre a Johnny Cash song this year. My world is CRUSHED !

PS, unless that kid party is an all nighter you don't have an excuse. Put the kiddies to bed, get some Coors light, put on your highbeams and head on over.

Whatever you say, jetsetter.

I got the Sun. breffust fixins covered, as long as you bring the cackleberries.

For those who shiv a git, da Elf and kids will be there by noon, along with Roscoe and myself.

I still need top call X-Bow, but I'm bettin' he'll be looking at the same time frame.

Game on ! See y'all tomorrow. 8)

Edit :

Snake,

You know that RB is correct. You don't live far enough from Diggs to use a 4:00 party for a 2 y.o. as an excuse.

I have to run down to my farm in Bates Co. on Saturday to deal with drainage problems, so it's more like a 3.5 hour drive one-way for me.

I'll probably be there around early evening on Saturday, so don't call me the new GWH unless I'm still not there when the sun goes below the horizon.

It's 50/50 as to whether I drive the truck or the car, so I may not be able to bring out a full load of firewood.
