Big T's is alright, and also has good beans. I've never had their chicken though.

A guy got shot in the head at Big T's last night, and it's nowhere near as rough an area as LC's is in.

Rafe, you should have gone to Cousins Catfish, just down the road. Good eats.

Nowhere near as rough as the area of LC's? Forpetessakes, they're 1/4 mile apart!

About 1 1/4 mile maybe. You're talking about Big T's on Blue Ridge blvd? Once you hit Raytown (Blue Ridge), it's much safer. Well, safer if you're white.

I don't know the name of the road. It's about 1/4 mile from LC's. That should narrow it down for you pretty well. :bangin:

No wonder the guy got shot in the head. Either that is a different Big T's, or they moved.

I said it was about 1/4 mile. It's less than 1/2 mile. Not bad, says I.

Craig, remember that.

Rafe, way to not get shot while eating collard greens in KC. Put it on your resume. In bold font.

There's a Big T's at Blue Ridge and Bannister, which is many miles from LC's and this other Big T's (which I don't remember being on Blue Parkway). I eat at Big T's on Blue Ridge quite a bit- I wouldn't put it in the realm of best BBQ ever, but they have good burnt ends for fast food BBQ.

I don't know that I would say that Blue Ridge and Bannister is "safe"; maybe relatively safe when compared to the area over by LCs.
