Counts - That's what I been trying to say!! PS has been on here and the Cafe for how many years about people shooting average bucks, instead of waiting for them to grow up. ...and now this makes 2 years in a row he's come up with lame excuses!!

O-Fool: When have I complained about other people shooting average bucks. I never once have said anything about any other persons deer. If you can make me eat my words on that, I suggest you do so. I gave Dennis hell for shooting a half-rack, but that was in good fun. The hell I caught from him was pretty good on this one too. I see where he has a big 138" 8-pointer, so he passed on a 135" 9 pointer this year. But, he shoots a 3 quarter rack last year that will score what? I will guarantee it wasn't 138". So, that argument doesn't jive. The only person I am complaining about shooting average bucks is myself. But, the fault lies with me and not a single other person on the cafe. I'm not making any excuses for doing what I did. In fact, if the situation were the same, I would have done it again this morning. I had less than a couple seconds to make a decision. That included getting my bow off of the hangar and getting my releae looped. Then, the shot. I had a good year last year, and I'm already starting to have a good year this year. I'll beat myself down and that is fine. I don't need you non-killing fuggers doing that for me. From now on, I'm gonna start hunting the most ellusive of all animals. I'm trying to decide what that animal is. When I kill one with a bow, I will consider it a good day.



Oh, and I've already killed a badger with a truck, so that doesn't count. Neither do mountain lions, unless MoCraig and I are hunting together.

Oh, and BTW Counts, you made it a pissing contest when you were bringing Tom's deer into it and comparing it to my average deer. I'm not sure I would consider my deer average, maybe a bit below.
