The Friday of gun season I actually did get excited about a deer. I even scoped him in and took the safety off. But, I opted not to shoot and then he sealed the deal by stepping into the brush. I never got a real good look other than I knew he had mass and height. His mainbeams were good as well.

I haven't been excited about a deer I have seen during firearm season in a long time. I just don't get the rush I get with bowhunting. Now that may change if I ever have a monster walk out in front of me...and such.

My heart actually got to beating pretty fast. First time I remember that happening in a long time. He was a good one, just not a great one.

I'll tell you what, the deer that messed me up the most as any in a long time was the big ten I rattled in a couple weeks ago. When he was coming in, I was solid, felt good, no nerves, ready to make the shot, but when that SOB walked off, I started shaking so badly that I could hardly stand up. I haven't had one do that to me in a long, long time. Sure was fun!!! Image

I start to get the shakes, when I see a doe, or a fawn, that I want to shoot. It`s a type of rush that no drug can compete with.

What about a combination of drugs?

170, I get the shakes everytime I intend to shoot something. I have passed on a 120 buck and not had a bit of nerves, but if I try for a doe, I have to work to control myself. Sometimes at the last minute I decide to whack a doe that I was going to pass on, and it's like turning on a light switch to my nerves once I decide to shoot.

Maybe you aren't doing the right kind of drugs or need to find a better dealer. Image
