Bull Shoals is rising at a good clip, about a foot up from the other day. Didn't look at the tables but guessing about 3-4 foot from before the last rain hit. The gravel road below the dam on the Powersite side is covered but still passable at this time. Waters almost at the tree line on the other side. Fished for about an hour down there earlier around 4:30pm and they had all generators going strong and good flow going over the dam. Looking like if we get another good rain or two like we had last week then we will be flooded again like a couple years ago. Bring it on, wouldn't mind shooting some more carp up in the flooded fields .

Oh yea, didn't catch anything while we were down there. Talked to on guy that said hadn't caught anything either but when got up to leave pulled out a stringer w/ 4 rainbows on it . Saw one guy catch w/ appeared to be a mid size possibly a keeper walleye across the lake.

Hehehehe....Know where that Big Boulder is settin on the Townside Bank couple Hundred yards down from the Pothole....try right there...

I've just Never really ....in all the years down there....The Gated side has not produced anything like the Town side...in any Numbers anyway....Think we'll be down for sure nextweek...a time or Two....Cw and I have a Boat load of gas to Use up....Uh..thats Premix i'm talkin....hehehe

Know exactly where you talk of BB. Have caught a few fish there in the past and will probably try to be there this evening after I make the boys run and hit a few baseball's down in the park. Talk to ya later.

If you keep eatin' those tortilla things, we probably won't need the gas in the boat tank...I can sit up front, and you can sit back there on the carb throats...and..well...you know..

You mean you'll hunt them scrawny nasty mud eatting duck but your going to deny your boys the thrill of chaseing the largest game bird on the continent? man don't that just beat all, one turk will make about 20 of them nasty ducks!...lol
If nothing else take em out after season and just do a lil calling with the boys. let em play with the calls and see if they can get one up close and personal...lol

And there you go. You only get one one of them things maybe two. As compared to shooting lot's o' ducks for at least 60 days and if your willing to hunt different zones even more days . Plus I don't have to buy no youth license for em to fish or hunt ducks like you do deer and turkey.

Got to shoot 60 of them nasty lil ducks to make up one turkey SWMO...lol Spring turkey season is a lot more enjoyable as well.
Take em out after this spring season and do a lil calling with them. Let em play with the turks a bit. Maybe by fall they will have twisted your arm and ear enough you relent and take em...lol
