I am thinking of buying an inline muzzle loader dont want to spend over 400 bucks what do you guys suggest

I got a Knight Supreme Disc Hunter, new in the box, from Bass Pro Shop overstock/return store for $400 this summer. I think they still have two or three left. This is the stainless, fluted barrel, new style full plastic disc with synthetic thumbhole stock. Full retail on the rifle is $779, so I saved quite a bundle. It shoots lights out.
They also have Remington 700 BPR in .45 caliber, stainless barrels and synthetic stocks for $299.....which is a considerable savings. Last time I was down (early last week), they had half a dozen or so of the Remingtons in the "cheap store", and several more over in the main store.
The list of quality rifles around the $400 range is pretty good....T/C Omega probably tops the list, but I just don't like the way they look. The critters you shoot probably don't care what the rifle looks like, though. Good luck on finding something suitable.

Only 400 bucks? I figgered with all the crap you & your son have been pawning off on everybody you'd be able to come up with more jack than that.

Wellllllll, Clark, I could have gotten another one that was more expensive, but guys like you have to have something to look forward to....the high dollar one is still there. Deerslayer indicated what his budget was, and I provided what I knew was available. He didn't say he he wanted the cheapest used M/L rifle that could be found....which to me indicates he probably knows more about muzzleloaders than he let on. BTW, I don't have a son. Only one daughter.

I wish my muzzleloaders were that cheap.

I just purchased an inline Savage 10ML11 with accutrigger and scope for $464 delivered to my door. The 10ML11 can use smokless powder.
