Finally was granted entrance into this hallowed website. Steve Fisher and I went out Sat. afternoon. I caught a 201/2 around four from his boat at the pothole. Throwing a 3/16 oz jigging spoon. I wish this website used real names all these aliases give me a headache.

My real name is Walleyes R. Notus......really. Hey PD.,,I mean Brad........sorry to hear about you and Jen Anniston breaking up. She seems like a really nice person. Can I have her phone number? She might like to go fishing or something to help get over the pain of losing you. WRN might even pass on a bottle to the good stuff.

Personally, I do not believe a word of what PD said. I mean, has the boy looked in the mirror lately? The REAL Brad Pitt must be, like, twenty years younger than PD, fer sure. Now I have seen What's His Name's daughters, and they might be confused with Jennifer Anniston after a beer or two, but ain't no way PD can be the real Brad Pitt. See, what PD forgot is that Brad is a Springfield Homeboy, and we all know PD came from some place north of Kansas City.
So, Jose....were all those wrestling matches with women fake, or was it the real deal? Inquiring Minds want to know.
OH MY GOD! Look at the post count...what will he do for #1000?????

walleyesrus, did you REALLY catch a walleye casting a jigging spoon? I know Steve claims it works on the bluffs, but at the Pothole? Must've been working it pretty fast.

Just chucked it into the current and snapped it back. It was only a 3/16 oz spoon so I in the current it was probably only dropping back a few feet before I snapped it again. I will go over that concept at the meeting thurs night I think its a real sleeper method that should work in the same areas that people rogue.

Lee.....Me too. Also, a 3/16 oz spoon. That's tiny..! Was it a cupped spoon or a slab ?

its a small slab spoon made by luhr jensen it has a bucktail treble hook on the back. Bass pro makes a strata spoon that also comes with or without bucktail that should work as well but fisher swears by his particular ones but they are hard to find.

I just wrote up a jigging spoon that sounded kinda cool...called a Flex-It Spoon. Shaped like a Strata or Hopkins (like a straight coffin with rounded shoulders), but made of soft lead with a soft finish, so you can bend it with your fingers to give it a different action.

actually I think he got them at Wal-Mart years ago. He only breaks them out on special occasions, but since I had unlimited access to his rod collection that day I gave it a try and bingo.
