Post by BornBad » April 14th, 2005, 9:50 am

You will be turning 50 tomorrow and I'd like to thank you for the double qtr pounder with cheese. Congrats Image

Although I agree with BB regarding the double qtr pounder, MCD's truely came into the standing with the egg McMuffin.
McLintock, great party, but no whiskey. We go home.

Everything I've ever had from McDonald's was crap. Wait, I take that back. Their sodas are pretty good.

Mickey D's is even worse than Subway. The only somewhat redeeming quality, besides their breakfast menu, that McD's has is their McRib....that and their 80 cent hamburger bun, with a small bite of "hamburger" in it. Image They do make a pretty decent pancake though.

I don't care who's birthday it is, Hardee's is the king of fast food breakfast.

The Big Mac was indeed a stroke of genius, and the fries are good if you salt them enough.

I think McRibbs are made out of the stuff that is rejected from hotdog factories. If you're brave, go ahead and ask Rafe what hotdogs are made of, he knows.

Yes, you've heard, but those ingredients are too good for the McRib.

MOCraig is right about the hot dogs. I will admit to not knowing wtf a McRib is, but chances are, if they have to smother it in BBQ sauce, they're trying to hide something.

My thoughts excactly Rafe. It's probably intestines and saw dust, but I may be giving them too much credit.

Don't get me started on those little foil packets of "flavoring" in Ramen Noodles.

Without doubt, doing what you do Rafe; you could tell me stuff that would have me eating nothing but what I skin and grow.

I will tell you this: much like the Native Americans, very little is wasted of any animal.

"Fish Filet Patty: Pollock or Hoki, bleached wheat flour, water, modified corn starch, yellow corn flour, dextrose, salt, yeast, cellulose gum, natural flavoring (vegetable source). Cooked in partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, (may contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated corn oil and/or partially hydrogenated canola oil and/or cottonseed oil and/or sunflower oil and/or corn oil). TBHQ and citric acid added to help preserve freshness. Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an anti-foaming agent."

Mmmm mmmm good.

It's nothing like the ingredients we use in the recipe forum, eh.
