1st Aid Kits

Post by BornBad » May 11th, 2005, 5:58 pm

I updated mine over the winter. I try to keep one in my truck and transfer it to my boat, when I use it. It's not used often, but it is a dandy to have when you need it.

My First Aid Kit consists of 1/2 roll of T.P. I use it up in about 2 hunting trips.

I carry no first aid suplies. I like to keep things risky, and live on the edge.

Besides, if the need to have a movement comes on, I always have the socks I'm wearing, or my shirt tail to cut off. It makes me feel like McGyver.

Out on the water, I do not use TP.. Water and a hand does the trick just fine.

I forgot my TP the first day of turkey season this year. I went back to camp without my right sock.

I'm telling you guys, you need to think about a big squirt bottle to have around. In the right situation, and at the right angle, it can work wonders. And, its hands free BB. Image

As evidenced by your t-shirts with a foot square cut out by a pocket knife.

Hey, at least you value the importance of an adequate "wipe." Image

I already implied that I'm very resourceful. Image

I keep the ultimate first aid/ first responder kit in the trunk of my car. Complete with suture, rubber gloves and mouth to mask. Funny though we almost always take the truck fishing... that whole boat pulling factor. Go figure!

When I took the first aid courses , the first thing I did was put a kit in each of my vehicles JUST IN CASE.

I knew Justin Case. I think he married Patty O'Furniture.

I have a fairly extensive first aid kit in my boat. It has as a minimum; a full set of spark plugs, a ratchet and sockets to fit the spark plugs and lug nuts, channel lock pliers, a couple of screw drivers, some fuses, extra plug, electrical tape, flashlight, and some other various items that looked like they might be useful. I don't mind my bleeding but I don't want my boat to suffer.
Take a kid with you.

Image You and my father have the same idea of "first-aid!"
