I wonder how that goober-head got his hands on those? Oh, and BTW, that buck in the picture didn't gross anywhere close to 160" until he started "adding antler". And such. What CA were those found on?

Shawn- did you find them both together right away or were they seperated by a big distance? Whatever the case those are terrific sheds.

Well, I'm gonna guess Drury-Mincy or thereabouts? I would bet I am spot-donkey on.

Comparing it to the other buck, I'd say it will score more.
Give yor guess MOC.
180-195 range, but I don't have lot of experience with deer of that quality.

I have no earthly idea what it will score. Southern MO produces some great deer every year. Heck, look at the Greg Wilmoth buck from over around Aurora. I think you and Shawn should stay down there and hunt this year.

PS,
Good guess, but no. These were found very, very near my old hunting area, but not there. My first cousins found them on Christmas Day. There was some snow on the ground and they saw them laying by a fence from the gravel road. They were together. Apparently, the deer dropped them together after he jumped the fence.
PS, I promised my cousin I would not divulge the exact area where they came from since it is public property. You know me well enough to figure it out though, so just keep the public guessing to yourself. I will tell you this much....it is not a CA. I cannot confirm or deny anything else. Sorry guys they didnt want me to post the pictures if I was going to post the location. I wanted to share them with you guys, so I told them I wouldn't say where they found them.

I can get within a few miles of there I think. I won't say anymore. That is truly a monster.

Be tempted to save a cape and have that one mounted Shawn. What an awesome find.

I may get them, but I'm not getting my hopes up. My cousins hunt, but they are the opening weekend if the weather is good type of hunters. They know I am pretty serious about it, so when I was up for a visit this weekend they showed them to me. They called me on Christmas and told me about them, but you guys know how that goes...I really didnt expect to see anything that big and then he pulled these out of a closet....yep a closet. Unfortunately there were three people in the truck at the time, so there is no clear "owner" two are my first cousins and the other is not, so I really need the ok from all of them to keep them...I will keep hoping though.

Take them and pretend like you have no idea what the heck they are talking about when they ask for them back. Then pull down your pants and chit yourself. I doubt they'll press you about it anymore.

That's a great idea 2B. heck the dude has already altered

of at least one other kill, so why not just fabricate a whole fornicating deer. Then he maybe he can make up a story to go along with the mount.

Just curious, which "one" are you going to have mounted, the
SHED
that other dudes found or the cape he'll probably pick up from slaughter house. Heck, I got a skull at home I'll give him!!

2B - Just remind him not to let it slip that he "fixes" the

when he mounts them to fix any "little imperfections" like broken or missing points!!
