White Bass / No Spawn......

Last Saturday (5-21) we got into some nice whites at Tablerock. Several of the bigger ones 16 1/2 inches and bigger) were females still full of healthy, firm eggs. There was no indication of re-absorbsion or pale color. These looked like they were ready to pop....?? Anyone else run into this ? They were caught in the main lake between Kimberling City and the dam.
