I took my son and a buddy of his out yesterday evening. Caught a 15 1/2incher, 17 incher, 18 incher and several short walleyes on leeches and nightcrawlers. Also caught crappie, drum, catfish and 1 3lb carp. Not to bad for just a couple hours of fishing.

Did Hunter and his buddy put it on ya????? I went this afternoon, but wasn't really into it. We caught several fish, but no walleyes. There were two boats on the flats at sundown as we cruised through. One was just sitting; the other was trolling.

Yes they did. I did get to practice fizzing the ones we caught.

My needles are still clean...........but CW is trying. The weather channel is predicting highs of 102 both days this weekend. Sounds like a good time to catch up on Saturday and Sunday fishing shows. This heat and dry weather is hard on the yard, hard on the garden, and hard on CW....for you tough guys who are going out....be careful. Stay hydrated, use plenty of sunscreen, and take a break from time to time.
