IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA
DID
NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME,
THE
OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.
AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF
OVER
4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL
COMPANIES.
THEREFORE SEPTEMBER 1st HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR
BEHIND " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THESE TWO NATIONS SHOULD NOT BUY A
SINGLE
DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.

Yes it does. I won't have my dollar until Satuday. How about giving me that dollar on Thursday. I promise I will spend it on something off the dollar menu. I will have to take a loan out for the tax, though.

Doesn't seem that complicated to me. The point is this. If you were makeing $X everyday. Then 1-2 maybe 3 days you didn't get that money you would suffer a loss correct.
Point is this. If we plan on decreasing the cost of fuel we need to decrease the demand by whatever means nessissary whether its walk'n, carpooling, keep'n you butt at home, ect.....
I ain't gonna work anyway cause people were lined at the pumps this morning anyhow.

MOCraig is correct. I have tried with futility to explain this to every ignorant misinformed MF'er that sends me that e-mail. It's like talking to brick walls.

Then I say we all stay home from work tomorrow and not drive your vehicle for the day. That will really put the hurt on those sons of a bitches.

You can't defeat the law of supply and demand.
I amazes me to see nearby stations widely varying prices all have customers. If everyone would drive an extra mile or two to the cheapest gas, it would encourage some retailers to lower the price, or in some cases force price reductions in order for them to stay in business.
