Stockton Lake 4-5-04

Post by Gary » April 8th, 2004, 11:12 am

Stockton Lake right now is very good at night and also very good in the day time. I fished last night and cought a lot of fish which were real close to spawning, The lake is starting to come back after the fish kill 2 years ago. My buddy and I had some real nice fish on the spinner baite at night, in the day time the lizard is working real good in about 10 ft. of water just about half way back in the coves. The water temp is in the high 50's to Low 60's depending on the area. The river is warming up fast and the Mutton Creek area will pick up real fast. If you want to get in on the good fishing you better start now and keep up with the fish as they progress to there spawning area's. We have been catching some fish in the 5-6 Lbs. range every trip and the Big Bass are out in about 12-15 ft. of water right now just waiting for the Temp. to come up.Well I hope you all like the report and have a Great Day Fishing. Hope to see you on the Lake. GAry
