Accuweather's 15 day forecast is showing 40-50 degree lows and 60-70 degree highs for the next 15 days. Seems like every year the September/October weather drags further and further into November. I don?t like it.

I still be we have a record deer kill this gun season. Fair weather hunters won't have a need to get inside and warm up.
Whatever the weather is, I'll enjoy it, and find a way to kill something, even if it is with a gun.

I wish it would cool down. It aint the heat that bugs me, its the darn mosquitoes that like to eat me up when its warm outside.

The St. Louis area weather predictions haven?t changed much.
Saturday and Sunday both look about the same with lows in the upper 40's and highs in the upper 60's with a chance of rain late Saturday/early Sunday. The kicker is that their now throwing in 15-20 mph winds with gusts up to 30 mph both days. Winds out of the south on Saturday and out of the west on Sunday.
I don't necessarily dislike hunting in warm weather but high winds just flat suck. Oh well, guess we?ll make the best of it. That west wind will hurt me on Sunday. I?ll take a north or south wind any day.

Toby, thanks for sharing that wonderful weather report. You worry way too much about the weather, are you a storm chaser by chance, or a wannabe meteorologist? I wouldn't even go hunting if I were you. How do you sleep at night knowing that you'll have a west wind to deal with on Sunday? Wow, now I'm worked up too.
I say it's a cospiracy!!!!

Whining? I'm not the one who's made 2 different posts about the weather. Besides, I've got enough big deer on the wall, I'm wanting my son to bag one now.

Toby, I was wondering if your avatar was derived from a personal experiment you attempted.

. I've thought about it and your bringing it up reminds me to change it. It is rather disturbing and a little annoying over in the side bar. I?m sure you can relate.

What the heck are you talking about SF? I only saw 3 mounts. One of those is a sammich. I'll let the 135" 8-pointer slide. That is a nice deer anywhere.

The other 2 whitetails are at my office, I guess I could include the mounts I have in my basement.
