Friday night, I took my neighbor Ken down to my property in southern MO. I had went back and forth on what stand, I should put him in. I wanted him to see deer, but also wanted to give myself an opportunity. The wind was only really right for 1 stand and I felt bad hanging him out to dry, so I put him in one of my favorite evening stands that I had been seeing lots of activity at night. On the way to the stand we saw a nice 8 just standing along a field about 400 yards from the stand that Ken would sit in. Well to make a very long story short...my neighbor drilled a 10 point Monster. ...I did not see a freakin thing!

.....

I will post the pic as soon as I can get help from keith@aimlow.

The deer where still movin in spite of the heat...

That's usually what happens.

Good deal for your neighbor for sure.

Yeah....that's a terrible weekend. You get no sympathy here. Get over it selfish. Sounds like your your big enough to give a guy your best spot as long as he don't kill anything. You?ll be better off the minute you stop thinking that was your deer to kill or thinking you would have killed that deer had you been sitting in that stand. You may have never seen that deer, you may stink, you may have crapped your pants at the first sight...you never know. Be happy for the guy and he'll be the same when it?s your turn.

Here is Kens deer:

Just have Ken pay for 1/2 your club member dues, it's only fair.

TOBY--

I am super pumped for him....I posted it in jest. That is why I put all the cartoons illistrations.

It was funny to me...because that is how it happens quit often.

Spare me the lecture on being selfish. You do not even know me...

That has to be one of the creepiest looking racks I've ever seen. I don't know if it looks like long skinny fingers or spider legs.

That is a nice one. It does look odd. Boy it is tall for sure.

It looks almost like a Texas rack.

Smitty...do you know who Isaacason is?

Yep. I've seen him in action, correct?

Where did you see him in action? My memory sucks. I know you have met him. It's Big Jon (Badger).

Yeah, I know I have met him over here in Columbia. I thought that might have been him down on the Jacks Fork in the hot tub.

No that was his buddy Pat.

Yeah, he and Pat came over here to hunt. He was trying to get Pat a deer if I remember right. Isn't he from Buffalo County?
