Labeling Treestands

Just bought the Summit Openshot. What a difference in weight and ease of use w/ the Rapistirrups.
Anyway, I'm planning on, once again, getting of those dog collars you can buy ingraved on the spot at the pet store for less than $5. Instead of screwing it down, I was thinking of cleaning that spot off and JB Welding it in place.
You Folks do it another way?
