WTF!?!? Sandals and no socks?!?! I know it was warm...but warm enough for sandals and no socks? I don't want to hear any crap about it being an integral part of his ?sniper death crawl? either.
Oh yeah....nice deer, both of you.

Toby,
But that is by far the most effective way to use the sniper death crawl...
If you will notice in one of the other pictures...the trampoline....it was jumping on the trampoline when I snuck up on it....those suckers really flip when you put a 150 grain 30-06 bullet in their donkey.

...the trampoline buck. Hey after hearing about Kirk's "shooting table" I guess a trampoline buck is not far of a stretch. I thought Craig was bullchitting me until I saw the pictures of the deer piled in the back of his Nissan Xtera.

I don't think it has anything to do with Shawn being a killin' machine. I think the dude has some help from "the other side". Y'all see that red orb in the one picture. Ain't that s'pposed to be a sign of spirits?

ODF you don't know how right you are. I hunt with my Grandpa's 50 year old Remington Woodsman 30-06 semi auto. It isnt the most accurate gun and I have thought about using a different one in that open country, but that is my way to take him hunting with me. So ODF you're right.....man I NEVER thought I would say that.....

Okay here is the short story...well as short as I can make it.
Windy and hot on Saturday, saw about 15 deer from the honey hole, but no shooters only two small bucks (one is a spike with one side broke off, so I called him a unicorn) I saw that unicorn buck 4 times in two days and MoCraig passed on him too...that little sucker got around and was he brave, sniffed everything whether or not there was a bigger deer with the doe.
Sunday morning, windy again, but from a better direction. Saw a small 8 pointer bed down, I would grunt, he would get up and look around but wouldnt leave. Decided after about an hour and a half of this that he was "doe'd up" and thought maybe it was time to do some stalking. I walked with the wind in my face slowly through the CRP and would stop and grunt every 50 yards or so. Got close to my last spot, grunted and a doe stood up. This buck stood up and looked around and then bedded back down in the brush. 250 yards away, windy, no good rest, average shooter, too brushy...the deer isnt spooked and his girlfriend isnt going anywhere, so I decide to get closer. I belly crawled through the CRP for 1 hour and 25 minutes until I got to 90 yards and a better angle for a shot. (BTW, it was neat to watch these deer, he would stand up, look around for about 3 minutes and bed back down, he would nod off to sleep for a few minutes at a time) Then the unicorn deer came up to the doe and tried to get him a sniff, the big boy didnt like that and came out of the brush to run him off....and that is the last thing he remembers.....

Excellent! I love using guns with a history. If a dude believed in that sort of stuff, they might say that red orb is your grandfather in the pic with you!

That orb is called a blinker, ODF.

Snowflake, I realize it's difficult for you to do, but open your eyes and look at Shawn's last picture. There's a red "orb" at the tip of the

. You're looking at the wrong picture, Forrest.

I see it now. I just assumed that ODF has never seen a blinker before, since he's amish.

RB....Shawn is no machine. Although I feel he may have purchased a type of machinery. How else do you describe mommy letting him hunt for 9 consecutive days away from home.
BTW....Shawn, did your daughter have any luck during youth season. Didn't see any pictures this year.
