I ordered a couple of barrels from Pac-Nor a few weeks ago.
Now I'm tracking them on their way from Oregon to my house.
Should be here early next week.

Kep us posted. Are they for the Savage, and are you going to put them on yourself?

They are for the two Savages. A 300WSM and a .243 win.
I was going to bed the stocks to the actions with the old barrels so we could shoot a postal match but with the new barrels comming in the next week I'll wait.
I somehow end up working on rifles till the shoot is half over and then still have to tweak the ammo before shooting.
A little pressure is good for the soul.

The barrels came today.
Smithing is done.
I'm about to mix the Brownells Steel and put them to bed.
