The third annual Hoedown is only a month away.

I'd like to at least have a vague idea of how many folks intend to show. I need to know how many ducks I have to beg from my duck huntin' buds. I've seen many of you folks eat. I'm not worried about havin' too many kabobs, but a shortage may cause a riot.

It would also help us know that we have adequate grill space, fryers, etc.

If you know what kinda vittles you plan to bring, post that too. It may change someone's mind that was planning on bringing the same exact thing.

Warmouth has volunteered to bring several bags of pretzel rods. All pre-broken, for your convenience.

Where is this deal again?

Munchkin and I are vaguely planning on it. Haven't really figgered out a menu yet...I know I gots some deer brats and frimp in the freezer. Ain't really thought about how to cook up the frimps yet, but was considering that southwest style. Although these are some slab shrimps, so not sure, may just butterfly and deep fry. Probably a side dish of macraoni salad. The boy and I leave for Florida next week, I'll get a little more serious about the hoedown after Florida and the Testy Fest.

I'll be there and I plan on eating plenty of whatever you folks brang....

The tables got lost in the divorce. This might be the excuse I need to get the new weather resistant vinyl ones.

There's no range, unless you wanna drive about 15 min. There's plenty of timber, so you could go snipe limb chickens if ya want to.

I am tenative. What is the exact date again ? I gave away my smoker. I might bring food. Not sure. I may just skid into the park. Open the cooler drink a beer, set up the tent, drink a beer, think about cooking something, drink more beer, make fun of DMR's goofy shorts and knock knees, drink more beer. Remind rich how much he looks like Jerry Carcia and he can complain how he doesn't get the puzzie Jerry did. Drink another beer, Corral Gloria back around the fire so she won't make any more fool out of ourselves, drink another beer.... more of the same... drink another beer.

I have a buddy getting hitched at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, then reception to follow. So I won't be attending, if it's the 24th.
