Oh oneshot.......I just sold my DB, ML shotgun. To my way of thinking they are one of the most fun guns ever developed. Totally utilitarian!!! I will have another, and soon! The next one will be of a considerably higher quality than the previous one. I only sold the gun, I kept all my shot, wads and such!

Well, my squirrel gun for this upcoming season is not as exotic as the .36 smokepole and blackpowder shotgun, but if it does a job on squirrels like it has done on pesky wabbits that waided my veggie garden, they are in serious trouble. I refer to a little RWS Mod.94 air rifle I found at the BPS catalog return store. Paid a C-note for it, and have never regretted it for a minute. Damned thing will drop a rabbit in its tracks at 45 yards with a head shot. Most of my shots with a .22 on squirrels were no longer than that. Using hollow point hunting pellets and the 3-9 scope that is on it, it is a deadly accurate rig, pellets are cheap, and it's relatively quiet. Gonna be fun in the squirrel woods this year.

I was wondering.... have any of ya'll used them CCI SGB(small Game Bullets)? If so are they anygood on the knock down side? I was using them stingers in my model 60 and now the little plastic buffer in the action has an ovel hole instead of a round hole like it should so I thought I'd better go for knock down and less speed.

They anygood or not really any diffence?

I've got my .22 mag tweaked in and am ready to sweat and scratch the chigger bites.

I still got chigger bites itchin from spring turkey season... My .22 is off, shot a few rounds this past weekend and missed everything I shot at (ashamed to say I was shooting 18" wide balloons at 100 - 150 yards)... But me .270 is still on target.

Naw it aint, I discovered that the .270 does a great job of penetrating through 4" limbs and popping off them stubborn tree rats that dont fall for the ol' tossing a rock to the other side of the tree trick.

Your supposed to wear a hat for tossin around the tree.

Of course, if you is sneaky enough them tree rats won't know which side of the tree you are on.
