Missouri has a new state record whitetail deer in the Buckmasters Whitetail Trophy Records. The new state record was harvested by John Shelton of Greenview in Camden County on Oct. 9, 2007 and just recently recognized as a new state record. The record deer was taken by crossbow and falls into the BTR Irregular Category, which makes it Missouri's No. 1 whitetail. Shelton's buck has 22 measurable points, 10 on the right side (99 5/8 inches) and 12 on the left side (105 1/8 inches). It also has four irregular points on the right side and six on the left side. Inside spread was 18 inches. In the BTR, he is recognized and given full credit for what he has grown and not penalized with a system of deductions as in other scoring systems. His official BTR Score is 204 6/8 inches with a composite of 222 6/8 inches. BTR Regional Director (Missouri, Illinois and Iowa), Jack McConnell of Willard, Mo., said, 'He was just 3.8 percentage points over limit to qualify as a new world record crossbow in the Semi-Irregular Category of the BTR. Even though the buck is in the Irregular Category, he still ranks eighth in the nation. He is truly an awesome buck.'

I know it's politically incorrect....but dude don't look too disabled to me.
