First time since '03
I got a gun tag because the 15 y.o. got me one for my birthday. I decided to use it this weekend and for the first time in 5 years I went gun hunting. This evening at 4:30 PM I smoked a young doe. Shot her with my 12 gauge at about 12 yards. Somehow she ran about 150 yards. Don't know how she made it more than 10 yards because she had a monstrous exit wound.

Glad that you got one Rafe.
I once shot a doe at less than 10yds with my 300wm, and that darn deer ran 125+yds with her heart in pieces and leaving a blood trail with no gaps in it, just constant pouring blood. You never know what those goofy things are going to do.
