Northern Horde Invades Western Missouri

Post by Tigerhaze » December 22nd, 2008, 1:48 pm

Hi-

I know they aren't mallets, but I thought DMR, C&C and some others might enjoy seeing this. These snow geese were all converging on a cut corn field about a mile off of a state highway near one of my properties; they were coming in low enough over the highway I could have taken a few with the shotgun.

Obviously these snow geese don't know what direction to fly:

Over the weekend I could have shot canadians from my driveway that were lighting in my neighbors corn field. They just kept comming in in groups of 4 to two dozen at a time.
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

The west side of the state just about always has more of those white bastages. They're fun to hunt, but a helluva lotta work.

I haven't hunted them much since my decoy spread got stolen in the middle of the night. That's been 5 or 6 years ago, and it still pisses me off when I think of it. :m16:
