Thanks for having us, Dave. It was nice to see all of you hooligans again - and to meet those of you that I had not had the pleasure of meeting before. You have a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land. Thanks for sharing. And seeing your old cars has inspired me to resume work on my old Ford.

Re: Good times
Sorry I missed out yet again. I did take full advantage of my time and put the smack down on some smallmouths though.

Re: Good times
Yep she does have you trained up right. i could do the sand bar deal again. That area would be closer to a good number of the guys. is there a secure parking area where the ramp is. The thieves hit those ramp lots pretty regular from what I hear.fish wrote:Dave - Was a good show. Enjoyed the day and you have a great piece of God's country there. Re: Good times
Sorry I missed many of you, as I showed up early evening (at least before dark this time around
). I apparently missed the storms that got at least one of you guys stuck, and it ended up being a nice night out there to drink and BS with the people that stayed. Some of us got down to the lake early Sunday and caught some more bass, gills, and catfish.
The bacon wrapped snack bites and the breakfast feast were great-thanks much to Mike and Gregg for that and Dave for hosting

Re: Good times
As has been said, it was a good time, and nice to see you folks.
Dave, I didn't see a charcoal fire until hours after most people had left. By then it was waaay too late to start in on five or six dozen Scooby snacks.
Dave the host,
Thanks again. The new acreage is sweet ! Let me know if the geese become a nuisance at the lake. They make pretty damn good Scooby snacks as well.

Re: Good times
There is a lighted commuter parking lot about a quarter mile from the ramp. Things should be OK there and JC police check things out on a regular basis at the ramp. Providing the river cooperates it could be a fun timeRB wrote:Yep she does have you trained up right. i could do the sand bar deal again. Re: Good times
That sounds good to me. I guess you will be organizing the event then
If its the same crew as last week I have the email addresses or you could post it. For guys without boats we could shuttle to the sand bar. You can most likely count me, DMR and Roscoe in.
