Let's just say we did a pretty good job of feeding all our friends in camp! Never seen so many goggle eye in my life! Smallie fishing was good, but the goggle eye fishing was astounding! Never seen anything like it. I bet the misses and I landed 20-25 each! Great float for sure. The more I get back on that river, the more I like it. The fish were highly predictable, but of the 5 canoes in the float, we were the only ones that really figured them out.

Smacking the goggle eye is never a disappointment on the river. good fighters and good eating. Do they have the 9"limit where you were?

Not 9 inch, 8 inch, but yes we had it there. We caught a whole gang of them between 7 and 7 7/8 inches too! We did bring home quite a few over 8 inches with the biggest going right at 8.5. That is a pretty dang good goggle eye!!!

As things stand, I should be there.

I thought it went without saying that the duck tits would arrive with me.

If someone brings backstraps, and the masses desire such a thing, I'd be glad to bring the stuff to blacken some medallions.

Well barring some kind of disaster, I am in. Maybe the misses as well, but definitely me. WOOHOO!!!
Like I said, if we need backstraps, I can bring 1 or 2. Just let me know!

Hey ODF- I heard on the radio that the shuttle launch is being postponed until November. You may want to look into it.

Just talked to a guy that fished the Huzzah by my place and in a couple mile stretch they caught a bunch of smallmouth bass and some goggle eye.

LA, you and WM and BA prolly wouldn't have shown up anyway. It would have been nice if you could have made it but we'll just have to suffer through your absence.

That's not true. We might have stopped by, but certainly not if you are letting the likes of Limbshot in. I mean seriously... my child's safety is of the utmost importance.

Well, I'll be damned. Look who came up out of the bunker. :mpeeper:

You won't really miss much. The drinks are warm, the food sucks, and every spoken word is a lie.

I will say, it's nice of you to feign missing out on this little fiesta. :jmplgh: :howdy:
