Re: Who's ready
Well, it will just be my luck for sure.
I was told Vince used to tie all of the jigs for PL. Found that interesting. Yes, I saw where Shawn fished that. We are fishing for fun. I'm sure we will have our own little tourney as a few of the fellows are pretty competitive.

Have a great trip. Is snowflake going? We have been going in April and hitting Bull Shoals for big whites too.

Re: Who's ready
I plan to be on Table Rock the last week of March. Not sure of what I'm going to fish for as that is a hard lake to fish I think. But will give it a go.
Yes, SF is going.

Do some snagging. We hit taney, bull and the rock last April over a four day trip. Tell SF I said hello.

Re: Who's ready
Walleye are already biting on tributaries to Truman Lake- already heard of several in the 30 inch range being caught. I went last weekend for a short time but didn't hit the water and moon conditions right but plan to go again in the near future.
I am always up for a Hoe Down; it would be a little easier on some of us in Western MO to attend if held more centrally.

Hey Gary where have you been? Haven't seen you around for a while. If we can find a spot in central mo that would be great. Maybe somebody will step up and have it at their place out there.

I'm ready for some fishing. Next time I get out to our place I'm taking my pole.

Re: Who's ready
I haven't been on much- pretty busy between work and property chores, and in the process of buying a new property. I would like to see a Hoe Down this year- if we can't find a private spot to hold it maybe we can find a public spot that will work. We can do eastern MO if need be but would be nice to see if we got some different people showing up if more centrally located.

Re: Who's ready
Central location around Columbia or Jeff city would make it easier for more folks to attend. We need a member from that area to step up and find a spot. When we had it at Diggs we got some pretty good turn outs for quite a few years. Maybe Limbshot or the Snake have some ideas for out their way.

I'm still in favor of meeting down at a place like Gasconade hills or something like that for a camping/float trip hoedown...says the guy who never can make it.

Re: Who's ready
PS, the bassing on Tablerock can be pretty amazing in March too. If the water is still cool enough, the jerkbaits should be on fire, if it warms up a little more, head up a river for some lightly stained water and throw some wiggle warts!!!

Where is Gasconade Hills? LS, maybe you should join the hoedown committee for this year. They are always a good time. Two years ago at our farm we had a good turnout and had a good time in spite of the rain.

Gasconade Hills is in Pulaski Co. near the Laclede Co. border, just south of I-44 at the 145 milemarker.

Re: Who's ready
Yes, campground. They run multiple float trips on the river. Most float right back to the campground.
