Still kicking for the most part. I've been in South Texas, moved down here about 15 months ago. That bird represents my first hunt since I've been in Texas, and my first Rio Grande.

Congrats- out of curiousity what general part of south Texas are you located? I have family southwest of San Antonio as well as in the Corpus area.

I'm in Corpus Christi. Killed that turkey between Corpus and San Antonio, near Whitsett.

Very cool- I would like to get down that way again. My family isn't too far away from Whitsett (by Texas standards)- they are over by I-35 near Devine and Hondo. A buddy of mine was just talking to me about wanting to go down to Corpus some spring and fish the Laguna Madre for redfish and sea trout.

Didn't know you moved. For a good reason I hope and that they didn't run you out of Missouri. I have heard they have lots of turkeys in S. Texas. Quail too. I have always wanted to go there for the redfish and trout that TH is talking about. Good to hear from you.

Russ, the hell with seems like... I'm pretty sure it HAS been 15 yrs since that 3d shoot!!! I'll tell ya this, if I wanted to get him mounted, I'd ask'em if they'd charge by the pound... that skinny bastard would've been cheap!
