Mark twain

fished up there four or five times in the last three weeks for crappie and have been catching very nice 10-13 inch fish, while catching limits in the mornings. Have yet to see more than 10 or 12 people fishing and haven't known any of them! Say hi if you see someone loud and laughing a lot! Image

Hi.

i'm crappie fishing down here around KC doing alright on traditional minnow set up with slip bobber, and on chartruse jigheads with minnow's. the other set up that has been working is a long 12-13' jigging pole with a 1/16 oz tube jig fishing in flooded trees right around the channel, and back away from the channel in 9-12' of water. only catchin a few on each tree but they're there.
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

Caught about 25 keepers 8/20, 9-11 inchers, down 20-22 feet around brush. They still like minnows, but we caught them on everything but the kitchen sink. Probably caught 75little ones, we fed them so they can grow. Going again as soon as the batteries are recharged!
