crappie

Have tried LOZ and Thomas Hill plus several small lakes in the last 10 days chasing crappie. The small lakes are much hotter and more fishable! Caught 12 last night in about 2 hours in a small private lake. Fishing has been tough at the other two lakes. Fronts and wind have hurt fishing last few days. Image

Feels like winter is back in full swing today. Do you know what the water temp. is on LOZ? Are you catching them on live bait or jigs?
Good Luck,

Water temperature at LOZ is right at 40 degrees. Have been catching most on niblets and jigs. Some roadrunners, but most jigs.
