Quick Deal on a Muzzleloader

Post by Marshdog » October 19th, 2004, 2:38 pm

Here's a quick deal on a BRAND NEW, NEVER FIRED CVA Optima break action muzzleloader. Stainless and composite, in 45 Cal. I bought this one in Aug and haven't shot it but after handling another I'm willing to sell to buy. Cabelas listes this one for $229.99 I'll sell it for $225 and take a beating on the shipping and taxes.

Picture

Deals only good till Friday, if it's not gone by then I'll shoot it. Seasons right around the corner. Image

Hey, Dickhead! What part of new in the box constitutes used? Plus shipping of about $15. I really don't remember anybody pulling your short chain but if you must jump in on something you really should learn to read above a third grade level. Image Image

Marshdog,

You'll have to forgive him. His head is swimming in cold medicine.

That, and he's a dumbass.

I dunno, I think MOCraig is right... $20 don't sound like much of a beating to me!

hobie,
You never was the sharpest stick in the box, either apparently. I paid about $245 or $250 for the thing, I have taken it out of the box and set it in the gun cabinet. I haven't test drove it, kicked the tires or anything else. It's is just like it's been setting in the back room of a gun store and if I remember right that poopoo didn't loose value when you was trying to sell it. Image Now, I realize I have to talk slow to ya so you can keep up but if you want to buy it speak up, if not shut up. Is that plain enough? Sales tax is about 6% average around the state so if you drove to Springfield to pick one up that's an extra $13 bucks plus gas.

Swear to God, you fornicators are about like a bunch of jews over a penny. I have never been to the point where I've ever had to sell a gun or hunting equipment to pay the bills, nor will I ever be. So, I'll spell it out for ya I don't have to sell anything, if you want what I have buy it. If not quit your biatchin about something that you ain't interested in, you ain't gonna steal it cause I won't take it in the Image.

Now if that don't spell it out real clear for ya, please the doors to the short bus are open and the boarding sign is light up, proceed with caution.

Oh, we have another winner. Did I say it was a 50 cal? Excuse me but didn't remember writing and then reading that it was a 45 cal?

Do you know the difference between the two?

Why don't you compare a Ford to a Chevy and tell me the trade value is the same.

How the hell do you keep the hunting regulations straight in your minds, carry that 'hunting for morons' book?

Gee, I guess Cabela's compares Ford and Chevy's the same, the cost of the 45 and the 50 are even the same...by the way, how much you want for it after you shoot it on Friday?

I'm not shooting it but I have the opportunity to buy a New Kodiak which after further review I like better. But the price is only good thru the weekend. I don't need two so if this one sells then I'll buy the other if not I will whack deer at will with it.

I like this one just fine, just like the Kodiak a little better. Image

hey marshdog,
I am not a regular here, but in reading this thread, I think you are way out of line...Why are you bringing vulgarity into the thread... Just because you can... Relax, Chill, let everyone take their shots then sell the gun. No-one says you have to answer anyone, even me...

Mdog.. you have to learn that even in a down to earth post on here that someone will find someway to pick at you no matter what. Just let it roll off your back and onto the floor. It's the way it works around here and the way it's always worked. Sooo if you have a problem with them just don't leason to them.. plan and simple... ... We all get along and try to have alittle bit of fun.

Yes a .45 will sell alittle better sometimes then a .50 cal. But if they can find the gun cheaper someplace else then what you are selling it for and in the same shape.. then buddy you is the one that got the shaft in the Image in the first place buy not looking around enough.

If you are looking to sell anything around here... don't get all huffed up and proud over anything. Either get used to the way the game is played or quit.

DRN~ I think you should get dried out behind your ears before you start giving me advice.

If either of you too knot heads knew who I normally am you wouldn't make such stupid comments. I know how the game is played, but I like my rules better.

BTW~ Gun sold lastnight. Image
