Hobie,we didn't set the world on fire,but we did do some killin'. 2 guys,1 & 1/2 days : 14 ducks and 1 Canada.
No scrub ducks. Mallets,Gadwalls,Wood Ducks and G.W.T.. Not too bad for having to hunt in this sorry azzed weather.
It looks like the weather is gonna take a turn for the better. Brang it !!

That is a pretty good lil mixed bag for this weather. Wazzat at one of the big CAs?
I'm hopin this front will push a few down! Not sure it'll get it done though.

Sat. : irrigation lake near Mexico.
Sun. another between Moberly and Centralia.
Yesterday,at first light on the lake: mallards,GWT,gadwalls,wigeon,spoonies,ringnecks,pintails,woodies,snows and canadas. It was cool as hell.
Most of the birds wanted the middle of the lake,but we persuaded a few to get a little too close to the layout blinds.
