He called me at 6:35 and left a voice mail that said "Dude, you should have been here this morning, you could have got some good video." Called him back to find out at 6:30 he shot a 8 x 7 as it harassed a doe right after he climbed in. Lots of character, good mass and width. Points stacked up on each main beam.

The AimLow boys are in a slump. We spent the last 4 days in Kirksville which apparently is the only town on the midwest where the bucks weren't moving. Very frustrating 4 days.

I hear ya. We are finding out just how much harder it is to split time hunting and filming and having to do things differently because of making sure we get everything we can on film. No wonder most videos get filmed on HFA's. We will keep at it though.

mobuck,
Have you seen the pics of the buck taken in Pike co. Ill. last week by the fellow from Desoto? It is a dandy scoring in the mid 160's I hear. He told me he has some video footage of it also.
Good Luck,
buckeye

I'm sure it is difficult. Having everything come together for two guys from two different perspectives, heck, it can be hard enough to pull it off with just a shooter!!! You guys will do it though. I'm quite sure, like anything else, the more you do it, the more you will learn what set-ups will work best for you guys as a team. Also, you are right, most are filmed on HFA's for good reason, but also, most have more than one camera filming, in one part of the country at a given time! Another big advantage the others have over you guys for now! Just be patient. When it all cmoes together, you guys will appreciate it that much more, and likely have a product that the general public will find pretty interesting!

New estimates have put H170's deer at 170-180! Hunting170 may have done it! He deserves it, believe me. The downer was I had thought about going over to film him but was just too wore out. He is going to pick up the pix right now.

Yep, Aim Low is slumping. Filming or not, this hunting thing is getting depressing.

If nothing else AimLow, you men can film my hunting goof-ups. That in it's self will get you hours of footage.
