OK..here is the deal. PS found his deer! It is suffering a hair of ground shrinkage. He thought it was a 10 point but turns out it is a nice 8 point. Decent mass...beautiful rack. He thinks it will score in the low 120's.

So that's one decent buck for the CCGC. How many have the WAS killed? I know for a fact that the CCGC boys have all been in them, just waiting for the right one to bring down the thunder! Congrats to PS. A fine buck I'm sure!

I have to admit... no bucks here. I haven't been in a deer stand since weekend before last.

I have, however, ended the lives of a few ducks and a goose.

WTF??? Smitty....uh, I mean PoisonSmitty is so full of it. Wasn't he the one wailing about how he wasn't going to shoot a buck until he got that 160"?? Isn't he one of the loudest voices Image about people shooting the younger basket-racked bucks and how "we" should let them grow up and get big Image? And now he's out there shooting a little 8 point? WTF??? Image Image Oh well, guess it is an improvement over his 5 point trophy! Image

OF, some deer never develope more than 8 tines because of genetics. It's obvious to me that Smitty wanted to take the genetically inferior deer out of his herd. Sound management, it appears to me.
