All rigged up
All rigged up
Went to AIM archery today and got rigged up. I was gonna use my old bow, but they had a bow there that was already rigged up and I just bought that. I had them take off the reel they had mounted on since I had already bought a 808. They had a Shakespere model on there. Got a couple of Muzzy arrow/points. Put the no-glove finger release on there. Came to $85. I'm ready to go now. Might go next weekend to the dam.

DH....when you say "the dam", are you referring to the Truman dam? I have seen some huge carp in the tailrace, but did not know you could get in there and stick 'em...
that would be a great place to bowfish.

I meant bagnell dam. It's not too far from where I live and I've heard that there are some good size fish below there. I've seen some and they were huge. I'll be walking the bank, don't have a boat to use.

Re: All rigged up
OK...thanks. I'm in the process of rigging out a canoe with a set of outriggers from Cabelas's so I can stand and shoot without tipping over. If you're ever up near Pomme de Terre, let me know. I will be trying my luck up there when the carp begin to move shallow shooting from a standard bass boat. You're welcome to join me any time.
