Jeebus! Somebody agrees with you and you give yourself a hug? That's pretty sad. Image

the whole reason I posted it in the first place was because I was asked a direct question even AFTER hobie posted up the remedy. Then he fuggin whines about not getting recognized.

Hey Mike, we are nice people over here. We really would appreciate you toning it down a bit. Kids, and women are abound on this site. I would hate for anyone to subtract your dashes and be offended. Is that ok with you ?

I wasn't whining CP. I was pointing out that you were rehashing the same tired information that had already been posted.

I think I'm inclined to agree with Rafe on this one.

Well, I went home and checked the barrel and it is fine. My concern was the leaving it in the garage part (where moisture might ruin my barrel). It takes me about 2 hours to clean my gun. Also, I will generally bring the breech plug to work and sonicate it in hexane followed by TC bore cleaner. I do the boiling soapy water and all that jive even after a single shot of the gun. I just don't want to ruin a quality gun, and I was afraid I might have out of my own stupidity. Thanks for all of the responses fellows. I printed this off just in case I decide to change my methods in cleaning the gun.

I think that point has already been covered in one of your earlier posts. If not, I am certain 2B or Counts will soon remind me of that.

Sounds like bore butter is the least of your problems, considering your tendancy to drop your gun out of your tree stand. Image
McLintock, great party, but no whiskey. We go home.
