WOuld of thought with the crowd at the draw yesterday Mark. Hunted monday and limited out for 2 time in less than a week out of the same blind with monday being the best day as far as seeing #'s. 21 parties drew and we pulled basically #20 and still got my first choice of blind, everyone wanted Apool or open big water in F or C. Yesterday it was like a complete turn around as ducks go. Didn't see near the #'s and between 3 of us managed to scrape 5 ducks total by 12:30 as to where the day before we were down at 8:30 with limits. At the checkin the guys there told us at that point we had turned in the most reported????? 3 parties out of Apool never fired a shot, 1 guy had a limit of mallards and several others had reported yet. I'm sure it probably got better later in the afternoon especially when the wind shifted from the south to the north but it wasn't looking like it when we left.

Looking at the weather forcast for the next week or so my trips north may be finished guess I need to focus on the waters down this more anyways Image.

First pic is yesterdays hunt. Just witnessing another awsome sunrise made it worth it in my book.

Second pic is the results of mondays hunt.

We killed 6 mallets on sat, and I went by myself on Sun and killed another pair. Cold mutha Sun am. Haven't hunted out of a blind yet this year, just freelancing on public ground. I've been killing a Canada once in a while. Maybe this front will push us some ducks kown this way.
With the temps forecast, I'll probably stay home tomorrow and hunt the river.
