Juls, I miss Wisconsin something fierce--especially in the summertime--but good God, is it beautiful round these parts, hills and all! The perfume of the hickory woods in autumn is positively intoxicating. Add in the fact that you can take the boat out all winter AND you have a shot at a WORLD RECORD WALLEYE, well, I guess missing the odd outing ain't so bad. Just makes for a looooong day...

Hey, what a perfect time to crack into a bottle of CW's finest homemade high-octane blackberry wine. Been looking for an excuse... See ya!!! Image Image

I got up pretty early and had visions of doing something constructive with the day---but that failed. I did manage to get lucky with a photo---I thought it looked kind of KOOL!!!!!

That was shot at about 8:15 this morning---- Image

If any of you are bird lovers---I have the photo in its original size--It looks good as a desktop-----Just give me a yell!!!!

Now that could be a prize winner in a photo essay contest.
Very cool, indeed.

Easy PD, you wax a bit poetic. I'd say the vino is already open. Image
CW, make a pretty label for some blank cd's. Then get footage of someone actually catching a fish while the"fish-o-phone" is in the water. PD will market it, and the rest of us goofs would probably buy one!
I just wouldn't put any of us on camera for a "paid testimonial"! Image
The roads over here were just wet yesterday. I got up early and went quail hunting over in KS with my buddy Matt. We killed a few, but man was it wet and sloppy! Tough walking for a couple of old guys with a lot of miles on 'em.
Rehab is for quitters.

Bullitt....I got the label making stuff for CD's. Made some yesterday for one of our varmint hunting compatriots up on the top half. Not sure about burning video footage onto the CD-R disks, but then again, gotta have footage of somebody actually catching a walleye before you have to worry about how to put it on a disk......I admire your fortitude for going after quail in the quagmire yesterday. Was it hard to rotate your body for the shot with both feet stuck in the mud?
Looks like CW and Billy are going to try for a walleye either tomorrow (Monday) or Wednesday. Wednesday will actually be warmer, but also have more sun, something the walleyes seem to dislike. Should know in a few minutes which it will be.
