Boys: It is a sad story about that there dog. My wife well in love with it naturally. But, my other dog hated the little fellow. So, I had to send him down to SEMO with my brother on Sunday. My wife cried for an hour when we had to let him go. I spent $250 for a dog and $50 for food and treats. I feel pretty stupid knowing that my other dog wouldn't like him. Chalk it up to a lesson learned. Beautiful dog I must say, but he is now in a great home as well. TOS

Dang thats would have made one hec of a hunting buddy there.. It's a shame your other dog didn't like him.. Spent all the money and still didn't get to keep him.

Sometimes thats the way it goes if they don't get along..

Purrty little fella though..

Ol dogs seem to have a way of knowin a youngster that will someday make them look bad. Fine lookin pup. I can see why your wife had such a hard time parting with him.
Course, she is partial to poor little defensless things that may have potential, but for now know nothin and can do nothin.

Smitty , thats a damn shame. That was one quality pup.... I believe I would have given the old dog enough time to try and accept and adjust. What kind of dog is the older? If it ain't a Lab send it away and keep the pup...

Yeah Bubba, he had like 9 champions in his bloodline. I know very little about dogs, but if think he was quality I have to take your word as gold. I just don't know a lot about dogs and such. Anyway, our other dog is half black lab and half golden retriever. My wife was like, "Maybe we should give it a week or so". But, I truly thought our current dog was gonna kill the little fellow. I am just sick about the whole dang deal.

BTW Chairman, thanks for the compliment. The dog is pretty good looking too. Image

To bad about that TOS. We got our lab as a pup and the old beagle that we just lost accepted him pretty good. I think he knew the lab would get a lot bigger so he was nice to him. Darn shame...good looking pup.

Well I guess I was wrong--I figured he(The dog at home) would be use to all them ear's and not cause the little fella any problems. He sure is a quetie....

Maybe I should not have held him so much---might have been the reason he was to nice to the home pup! Image
