BB, the real reason I posted that is about 20 years ago I went fishing on Stockton in March, and a game warden checked me. I told him my wallet was back in my coach's office and didnt have it...Luckily I knew him and he said okay, believing me.....Well I had not gotten em renewed, but did real shortly...I even fessed up to him later...about a year later.... By the way, I really did think I had them....

Yes, I have purchased yet another yellow bumper sticker from the MDC. I'll get another one inthe fall because teh waterfowl permits aren't in line with the other liscense requirements. That way I get to carry two bumper stickers.

You guys are over thinking this deal. You don't really need to buy a fishing permit until April, maybe mid April. If one the the state guys asks you for your permit, just throw his butt in the water, it's cold enough, he ain't sticking around to write you a ticket. Heck, you may get lucky and he could die of hypothermia, no witnesses that way. Image Image

I'd proly let it slip until April if I did not live so close to as many trout parks.

I can smell the grilled trout now.
